Everleigh
Bright light invades my closed eyelids. I yawn and stretch before slowly opening my eyes. I look to the side table on the right side of the bed and see that it is eleven-thirty in the morning. I groan before throwing the blanket off of me. I climb off the bed and head to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I don’t know for sure how long Zayden’s training is going to last but while I got some time to myself, I’m going to do some training of my own. I take a short shower and throw on a tank top and shorts when I’m done. I run a brush through my hair then pull it up into a loose bun. I brush my teeth then head back in to the room to get my tennis shoes on.
I walk out of the packhouse and head towards the trail head that heads in the woods. I haven’t been this way yet but hopef
