Wow. My mate is amazing. How she handled those idiots stunned me. It was hot as hell though. She is definitely coming in to her own. I’m proud of who she has become. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
We are almost back to the packhouse when Zayden links me.
“As soon as you get here come to my office immediately.”
“Almost there.” I said back. I turn to Everleigh who is chatting with Dawn about who knows what. I grab her hand and she looks at me and smiles.
“I have to go see Zayden as soon as we get back. I’ll have someone take your bags up to the room while you two go and eat dinner. Dawn can take my seat tonight since I don’t know how long this will take.”
