I don’t know why I asked Everleigh if she wanted to come to the interrogation with us. It’s not a place she needed to be but I can’t take it back now.
As we head back my nerves start to act up. I know how she was when the attack happened but what if that was just a fluke. What if it scars her emotionally and mentally for life? Ugh. What have I gotten myself in to?
I was so caught up in my head I didn’t even realize we were at the cell house. It wasn’t until Grey lightly punched my arm to get my attention.
“Hey man. What’s up? I’ve been trying to get your attention for the last five minutes.”
“Nothing.” I said opening the door and getting out. “Let’s go.” Well, this is it. Let’s see how well our Queen will do this.
