Berk woke up feeling sore all over. After a long time of doing sports, his muscles had collapsed because they were not used to it. As usual, he was up before everyone else. He made himself a cup of coffee in the kitchen and stepped out onto the balcony to light a cigarette. He sipped his coffee and smoked while listening to the birds chirping. Soon after, Zoe and Osman joined him in the kitchen. Zoe said, "I'm free today since I've finished my work. If you guys want, we can go to that big market downtown that I told you about before. You can find the spices and local foods you're looking for there." Berk liked how Zoe planned their days, so he agreed right away. "Works for me," he said.
