Berk was up again before everyone else, just as the first light of day broke. After making his coffee in the kitchen, he stepped out onto the balcony. As soon as he sat down in his chair, he reached into his pocket and rolled a joint instead of a cigarette. He took a sip of his coffee, lit up, and gazed out at the calming ocean view. A thin mist rising from the sea added to the morning's tranquility. Zoe came out onto the balcony after waking up. Seeing Berk smoking hash again, she snapped. "Hash again? First thing in the morning? You're going to end up addicted at this rate!" she scolded. Berk always being high was starting to really bother Zoe. Berk smiled softly, trying to diffuse Zoe's reaction. "Good morning to you too, Zoe. Looks like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.
