After a few weeks of pestering me over and over, Madden finally rejected me. I just didn’t understand why he had to make the rejection public. To punish me for rejecting him?
But if so, why was there sadness and unwillingness in his eye?
And why didn’t I feel the pain and disconnection I’d felt with Kyle? Why wasn’t I feeling the bond between us breaking?
