Drowning in his Touch

1239 Words
I looked at myself in the mirror, trying to calm my racing heart. I was married to a cruel man who had never made me feel loved, yet I couldn’t stop thinking about the one person I should never want. As the minutes passed, my guilt turned into a painful longing. I couldn’t stay in the room any longer. The smell of Matthew's cigarette smoke reminded me of how cold he was. I changed into a simple emerald-green silk dress and left the room. The villa was huge, with long, quiet hallways. I avoided the kitchen and dining room. I didn’t want to see anyone, I just wanted to be alone. Without thinking, I found myself walking toward the terrace. The sun was setting, and my footsteps echoed softly on the marble floor. My thoughts were a mess I kept telling myself this had to stop. I needed to set clear boundaries and keep my distance from Archie. As I rounded the corner toward the terrace, I saw him. Archie was leaning against the stone railing, his He wore a thin white linen shirt, unbuttoned halfway down his chest, and black trousers that hugged his thighs. He was staring out at the horizon, a cigarette held between his fingers, the smoke curling up into the evening breeze. My heart started to beat fast. I stopped in my tracks, Just seeing him there, framed by the dying light of the sun, made the resolve I had spent the last hour building crumble into dust. He looked like a god, and I was a devotee ready to sacrifice everything at his altar. I tried to steady my breathing, reminding myself that I had come to set boundaries with him. I stepped closer to him and called out his name in a voice almost inaudible, Archie. He didn't turn around immediately. He took a long drag of his cigarette, before he slowly turned to face me. His eyes swept over me, starting from my bare feet and traveling up the length of my silk-clad body, lingering on the swell of my breasts before finally meeting my gaze. A slow, deliberate smirk played on his lips. You look like you've seen a ghost, mom, he drawled, or maybe you're just realizing how much you missed me. I stiffened, forcing myself to stand tall, though my knees were trembling. We need to talk, I said, trying to inject a firmness into my tone that I didn't feel. Archie chuckled. He flicked the ash from his cigarette, and stared at me. Okay, I am all ears, I love listening to you talk And I think I like this bold version of you. I took a step closer, I'm serious, Archie. What happened in the kitchen... the way you've been acting... it can't continue. I am your father's wife. I am your stepmother. There are boundaries that cannot be crossed. We have to stay away from each other He didn't move. He kept staring at me, his expression went from amusement to a dark mode. He took one last pull of his cigarette and crashed it out against the stone railing. He moved and closed the distance between us. It felt as if I was being choked. I moved back unknowingly until I was pinned against the marble pillar. The heat radiating from him was like a furnace, threatening to consume the thin layer of silk between us. Boundaries, he whispered, his breath hot against my ear, sending a violent jolt of electricity straight to my core. You keep talking about boundaries as if they actually exist between us. I tried to look away, but he reached out, his hand gripping my chin and forcing me to look at him. His thumb brushed over my lower lip, a touch that was both tender and possessive. Do you really think I give a damn about a title? He asked, his voice dropping to a rough, hoarse growl. Do you think I care that you're my father’s wife? I gasped, my heart hammering against my ribs like a trapped bird. You... you can't say that, I breathed. It's wrong and it's a sin. Archie leaned closer, his lips almost brushing mine. I can see it in your eyes, Elena. I can see how much you want to sin. I can see that you're starving for someone to actually touch you, to actually want you. My father doesn't know what he has, does he? He treats you like a trophy on a shelf, something to be looked at but never truly felt. The accuracy of his words hit me to the core. I wanted to deny it, to tell him he was wrong, but the memory of Matthew's cold sneer, the unnecessary beatings and the way he had shoved me away flashed through my mind. A sob threatened to break through my throat, but I snapped out of the thoughts. I reached up, my fingers clutching the fabric of his linen shirt, pulling him closer. It's not that simple, I whispered, my voice cracking. It's the simplest thing in the world, Archie murmured. Pressing his hard, muscular body flush against mine. I could feel the ridge of his erection pressing into my hip, a promise of the intensity to come. He let out a low groan as he felt me tremble beneath him. I don't care about my father. I don't care about the bloodlines or the marriage certificates. All I care about is the way you moan when I touch you. All I care about is the fact that you are f*****g soaked for me right now, aren't you? I couldn't answer, I just wanted him to stop talking and start kissing me. I tilted my head back, offering him my throat, and he didn't hesitate. He buried his face in the crook of my neck, his teeth grazing my sensitive skin in a sharp, claiming bite that made me arch my back, a loud moan escaping my lips. His hands slid down from my face, gripping my waist, He lifted me up, my legs instinctively wrapping around his waist, the silk of my dress bunching up around my hips. He slammed me back against the pillar, He kissed me so deeply and rough, sucking every inch of my lips and my tongue. I tasted the faint hint of tobacco and mint on his tongue, and I drank him in as if he were the only source of oxygen in the world. His hands were everywhere, mapping my body with a frantic intensity. One hand stayed locked on my waist, while the other slid under the hem of my dress, his fingers gliding up my inner thigh. He groaned into the kiss, Look at you, he whispered against my lips, his fingers sliding deep inside me, finding the rhythm that made my world blur into a haze of pleasure. You're absolutely dripping for me, baby girl. All those boundaries, and you're still just a hungry little girl wanting her stepson. I tightened my grip on his shoulders, my nails digging into his skin, urging him to go faster, to push harder, to erase every single memory of the cold man who shared my bed. I don't care, I whimpered, my head tossing back against the marble. I don't care about any of it. Just... please, Archie... He pulled back for a second, his sexy eyes locked on mine.
