It was obvious that he was trying to hide his smile. And perhaps the fact that he thought he was smarter.
I smirked internally.
" That is no problem then. I will look for another hotel. And while I do that, please get the bellhop to bring my bags back down." I said, enjoying how his face fell and how he desperately tried to hide his disappointment.
" It's late already. I can't let you go through that. Just let's get some rest for tonight and tomorrow, you can get another room" he said, but again my mind was already made up.
I picked up my phone, hoping beyond hope that he would pick up and when the phone beeped and his gruff voice filled my ears, i finally let out the breath I did not realize i was holding.
