Savannah's POV All it took was that one phone call for the whole world to come crashing down on my head all over again. Kael was dead. I had somehow zoned out while listening to the doctor talk about how brutally his body was stabbed and how it would be unsightly to show me such a wound. Alexander stood beside me, his own face scrunched up like mine, nodding slowly as he listened to the coroner. " And no one was held accountable for the deaths?" He asked. " I'm sorry, things like this happen all the time in prisons, and we rarely see them as a shock any longer. I would advise that we get in contact with his father so he has knowledge of the tragedy that happened," he said. My mind reeled. I did not figure out just how much that camping trip had on me until the nightmares started. D
