Savannah's POV My heart still hurt even as I sat on the plane that day, going back home, back to the endless working hours and fake smiles in front of the man I wanted to have my revenge on. Just like Alexander, Kael did not bother to talk to me. I wondered deep within myself how I had managed to upset two men in such a short time. " Tell your grandfather I send my regards. I have enough to do already, so I won't be able to come in," he said. I nodded, a little glad that, at least, this would be the last I would see him. But his next words stopped me. " You know your grandfather wants me to marry you, right?" He asked. I stopped short. It was not new information, but it was the way he said it that made my heart settle down in unease. " And is there something I'm supposed to know?"
