It had been a long time. So long.
I did not realize how much I lusted over his body until he was on top of me, his strong arms making love to me in ways I could not explain.
That night, with the weight of the world finally feeling as though it had been lifted off of my shoulders, I fell into a peaceful slumber.
The next morning, I refused to open my eyes.
I was so scared that I would discover that the day before was only a figment of my imagination, or worse, he would realize that he was better off without me again and go back to that heiress.
