His brazen accusation was surprising. It was almost comical to think that he thought the whole world revolved around him. I looked at him, giving him false hope that I cared about him and that, in truth, he was the main reason I was here.
And then, just when he tried to raise his hands to hit me, I pulled away so quickly, leaving him to stumble to the ground as he looked at me, shocked that I had the guts to push him with such force.
