Slowly Alma flipped her eyelids open, she had been asleep for five hours and on waking up Quincy was nowhere with only a note left.
"I'm sorry I had to leave in a hurry, I have to rush to the company then meet my manager. I will try my best to come back in time. It has been long I bought food in the house but the fridge is not empty fix yourself something and on my way back I will bring food. Take care of yourself," She read the note and dropped it back on the lampstand.?
"I'm starving," she said to herself as she got down from the bed.?
She took the stairs and headed to the kitchen. She opened the fridge and almost laughed. There were several eggs, tomatoes and noodles.
