FORGIVENESS

"Elise? Are you alright?" I heard my friend's ask me but I just look at her and nod.

"If you have a problem, just tell me please?" She said.

"I'm ok don't bother." I said before leave.

Hindi ko din alam kung ano nangyayari sakin ngayon pero punong puno ako ng thoughts about someone, someone that I fell inlove with.

For me love isn't true, sasayangin lang ang panahon mo the it will leave you dumbfounded.

But when I saw him, lahat ng sinabi ko nilunok ko din, he's a good person kahit sino siguro maiinlove sakanya.

But sad to say, the person I love was not here at hindi ko na sya muling makakasama pa.

"Huy Elise, may transfer daw ah." My friend Krishell uttered.

"Then?" I asked.

"Sungit sis ah? May dalaw ka?" She said.

I just rolled my eyes at her and go back to my phone. Wala akong panahon para umintindi ng mga ganong tao, anong gagawin ko sa isang transfer student? Buti sana kung papakopyahin nya ako sa exams.

"Good morning class, listen may bago kayong classmate." Our professor said.

Wala akong panahon para makinig sakanya, in fact wala akong pakeelam sa kung sino yung transfer student.

"Hi guys, I'm Xavier."

When I heard the name I look at him immediately, di ko alam kung anong mararamdaman ko nung makita ko sya. I know him. Actually I really know him.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him directly but he didn't answer, he just look into my eyes and smiled.

"Oh magkakilala pala kayo? Maganda yan, sakanya kana tumabi Mr. Xavier." My prof said and Xavier sat beside me.

He's my childhood bestfriend, he's the reason why I don't want to meet other people except Krishell, because of some reasons.

Natapos ang klase na wala ako sa focus because of this guy, I don't ever want to see him.

"Elise?" Xavier asked while I'm here in the cafeteria pero ayoko pansinin bahala ka dyan mangisay.

"Hey Elise, talk to me please?"

"Please Elise?" He said and I felt like I needed an explanation so I look at him without any emotions.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Just talk to me." He said with his mild tone.

"Ok, anong paguusapan?" I answered.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry for not being there when the times that you needed me the most. I'm sorry for the pain that I caused." He said and I saw the pain in his eyes.

"You want my forgiveness? I don't think so that I can give that easily." I said on him.

"Sorry Elise, sinubukan ko syang iligtas ginawa ko naman lahat pero elise tao lang ako, hindi ako superhero." He uttered and I saw the tears in the eyes started to drop.

"Kung hindi mo sya sinama para uminom at para magpakalasing, hindi sya mamamatay. Sana buhay pa sya xavier sana buhay pa yung boyfriend ko." Mariing sambit ko na naging dahilan ng pagtulong muli ng luha sa mga mata ko.

Yes, Xavier was the reason why I left alone, parehas silang lasing ng boyfriend ko that time but Xavier wants to go to an roadtrip kahit pinigilan na sya ng mga tao sa bar nung mga oras na yon.

But he insists, nagdrive pa din sya kahit na lasing silang dalawa and they're ended up on a car accident, nakaligtas si xavier but my boyfriend's not, he died because of that car accident.

"Elise I'm so sorry, di ko din ginusto lahat ng nangyari patawarin mo ako." He kneeled down and cried wala syang pake kahit na may nakakakita, nasa cafeteria pa naman kami.

"I don't want to hear anything from you." I said on him with my hard tone.

"Tumayo ka nakakahiya, just leave me alone, please nasasaktan ako pag nakikita kita." I said on him and left him stunned.
