Jake never came back like Hunter said he would, so after making sure I couldn’t faintly hear the screams of the dammed or anything, I finally allowed myself to fall asleep to pass the time because what else was I supposed to do? It would take some getting used to not having to sleep from tiredness anymore. I woke up at some point, but there was no telling whether it was night or day here in hell.
