Chapter 55: Hell
When I next opened my eyes, I was lying on the ground. The ground felt rough, but I didn’t care because I realized I wasn’t feeling pain anymore. I stood up slowly and took in my surroundings. It looked like I was somewhere cavernous, the floor was rock, as were the walls and the opening above showed a dark night sky with a full moon the color of ice blue. Looking around I saw there were torches lit that were along the walls and further ahead I saw a bright light. Had Hunter and Jake brought me to some healer or something? Was I even in the same world because I’d never seen the moon an ice blue color before. As I moved towards the light I heard a faint scream, a scream that chilled me to the bone, but that chill seeped deep into my bones when I realized where I was now…hell. I tri
