Jane’s POV
After spending almost all day with Josephine, I learned new things from her. By the time we were done with the garden and her field, I was exhausted.
It wasn't really from work, it was from thinking about everything, including Alpha Liam. At some point, I wonder if my life would have been better if I knew who I really was or if I knew who my parents were.
But instead of drowning in the thoughts that are beyond my understanding, I thought of the one within my knowledge. How to not expect much from alpha Liam and how to stay away from Aria and her trouble.
The corridors were quiet as I made my way toward my room. At this point, I just wanted to lie down and disappear into sleep before my mind would start wandering again.
But the universe definitely had other plans for me.
