Jane's POV
“Liam!”
The voice called out from a distance.
“Liam!” I heard it again, but I wasn't even sure if I was hearing well or not.
Then it came like a scream, “What is going on here?”
As my senses began to work again, the first thing that pierced my foggy consciousness was the sound of her loud voice, irritating and annoying.
Why would someone be screaming so loudly? I thought as my mind struggled to clear the haze. But it took me a few disorienting seconds to process my surroundings.
“Why are you in my Alpha's bed?” The shrilling voice, or should I say the question, jolted me awake. That's when I became aware of the warmth beside me, and my gaze landed on Alpha Liam lying there, his rugged features relaxed in sleep.
