Part Two I open my eyes and then close them just as quickly. The light up ahead is too bright. I keep my eyes closed for a solid minute and I see everything that happened in that meeting room. It makes me sit up quickly, but a strong arm holds me down. Ryan is hovering over me, smiling. "Where do you think you're going, Ryn?" I can't even speak. My tongue sits heavily in my mouth as I stare at the eyes that were once home. Now, they're cold and dead. Have they always been like this, or am I just noticing this now?  "Ryan?" "Surprised to see me here, aren't you?" Surprised? No, that's not the right word. It's like the earth has been flipped upside down.
