Stormy didn’t get another Las Vegas run for almost six weeks. Summer was edging into fall as she drove across New Mexico and Arizona the next time. The days were getting shorter and today the western sky had turned so blue it almost hurt your eyes, with not one cloud in sight. A silly excitement tickled along her nerves.
