The bus came to a halt at an unfamiliar stop. Outside her window she could see a dark gray house with a black roof and trimming. It had a flower garden booming with blood red tulips by the large windows. The grass was a pretty shade of green, with apple trees coming out of the ground.
A boy started to walk on the bus, his hair was combed to the side, reminding her of waves made of sand. His blue eyes were like lake water being reflected by beams of sunlight. He was wearing a blue flannel button-up shirt and blue denim jeans.
She frowned, her seat was the only other seat he could sit on. She scooted over to give him enough room to sit.
He sat down with a nervous smile. She noticed the cast on his arm but she said nothing about not wanting to talk to a person she had just met. There was something moving in his bag too, the zipper slowly undid itself, revealing a sausage dog. She smirked until she realized his dog had started undoing her zipper to let out Mango.
"Caramel, no don't do that," he said as quietly as he could. He started to laugh, but then stopped before the bus started to move, picking up both of the dogs, then putting them in his bag, then he put Mango back in mine.
