ELSA'S POV
The moment Mariel and I seemed to have dissipated into the tiny air, the atmosphere became so tense that for a moment I thought Ezekiel was going to pull Mariel by her hair and throw her out of the Pack house.
However, to my relief and surprise, Ezekiel smiled and said, “ Dr Gregory visited and I thought he should check up on you.”
Mariel shared a glance as she struggled to her feet in embarrassment.
“Excuse me.” She mumbled and was gone in a blink.
“Please follow me.” Ezekiel stated and turned on his heels, heading out.
I did as I was told and trailed behind, we both saying nothing to each other until we got to his chambers.
