I put down the book and looked up at my ceiling.
I can't believed I just finished this 100+ chapters book in just a week!
"Mo Xiang Tong Xiu, you got me there huh.''
I scanned the book again. It is a limited edition book entitled 'Mo Dao Zu Shi'. It's a danmei xianxia w*******l.
Don't get me wrong. I'm straight as a POLE. Extra duper straight. I even have lots of girls confessing to me in college, but I was just so shy to ask them out.

My phone rang that stopped me from daydreaming.

I responded.
"There's an upcoming audition for the live action adaptation of Mo Dao Zu Shi. I think It'll be called 'The Untamed'. I saw you ordered a book with the same name so I just guessed that maybe you'll be interested."
Oh, he saw that!
''Did you read the book?!"
"No, no. I didn't. But I also want to try to audition and I'll bring you with me."
I heaved a heavy sigh. Thank goodness, he didn't read the novel.
"Okay, that's interesting. I'll meet you up in a cafeteria."
"Yep! See ya!"
He hung up. I wondered if Zhoucheng knew that the story was a danmei xianxia, will he still be interested? He's a freaking homophobic!
I think he suits for Jiang Cheng's character.
I navigate my phone and found a donghua adaptation for MDZS. I looked at their characters and paused at Wei WuXian.
"The Yiling Patriarch. Oh, he looks just like me. The way he smiles."
I smiled and looked at the mirror.
"Perfect! That's it! I'll audition for this!"
At first, I really liked Xue Yang's character. The villain type. But then, I want to aim for the lead actor. So I think my decision will be good.
I got up and took my towel. Before going to the bathroom, I message my manager about my plan.
"Good morning, Mr. Fang. I am planning to audition as Wei WuXian in the upcoming drama "The Untamed". I know you've heard of it. Tell me your say about this."
I clicked send then took a shower. I have a good feeling about this! My hands itched and got out of the shower immediately.
I need to update my Twitter. My Twitter account is private and only my closest friends and families are the only ones I followed.
I typed "I'm coming for you, WWX."
That's short for Wei Wuxian. I know that they are not aware of this character, and for sure this drama will be censored because of China's censorship.
I clicked "Post" and continued my bathroom business.

I walked inside the audition room with fidgeting hands. It's not because I'm so nervous of the audition, but because of what my manager replied to me.
"You will never fit in that role, Xiao. I read the manuscript and it doesn't suit you. We have other offers that are best for you."
I clicked my tongue and gave myself a pat.
"I can do this. I need to get that role!"
I walked with my head held high. It's okay if my manager will not support me, I'll just support myself.
"Good morning sir, this way please."
The crew showed me the way. I put my brightest smile in my face as I walked over the panel of casting directors.
"Hello, Xiao Zhan! I'm a big fan of yours!"
The girl in red bowed and I bowed in return.
"I'm Lu. Xuan Lu."
She smiled brightly.
"Nice to meet you."
"Are you going to audition for Wei Wuxian's character?"
My face light up.
"How did you know?"
"Well, a woman's instinct."
I laughed a little and nodded.
"I knew it! Your smile! You'll be perfect for his role!''
She winked at me and my heart fluttered.
"No. 6, Mr. Xiao Zhan."
"You're next! Good luck!"
I took a deep breath and went upstage.

The audition went smoothly. I performed some excerpt in the script and nailed it. I don't know if it's my charm or am I just breathtakingly handsome that the judges seemed to look at me like I am the perfect "Wei Wuxian". Haha.
I looked around and I can no longer see Xuan Lu. I stopped walking and eavesdropped at the staff that was holding the auditioners' list. I got curious who will play Lan Wangji's role.
"Have you heard about this Wang Yibo?"
"Yeah. In his biography here, he's a dancer and a TV host. He auditioned as Lan Wangji."
"Oh, he's a KPOP artist too. Do you think he'll fit the role?"
" I'm not sure. But there are lots who auditioned for this role, so let's just see who will hit it. "
I peeked at the paper to see the picture of this Wang Yibo. Actually, I've never heard of this name. In my 3 years in this industry, this is the first time that I've heard of him.
"Yes, Mr. Xiao, can I help you?"
The staff asked me. Oh, she noticed I was looking at the paper!
"Uh, hehe. Nothing."
I smiled walking away.
I should see this Wang Yibo! His name looks handsome I can't wait to see him!
"Mr. Wang Yibo is here!"
I quickly turned around and look at the person who's coming in.
He is tall with a masculine built. His hair is disarrayed, with a tint of ash green under his nape. His fair white skin glowed inside the room. His chiseled jaw moved along as he swallowed and played his Adam's apple. His eyes are ice-cold, just like Wangji's. His lips are reddish, perfectly shaped for Wei Wuxian's lips.
Shit! Stop it, Sean!
I should stop reading Danmei books!
"Wow! I like that look! I want to see you doing some scenes!"
The casting director exclaimed.
He smiled and my jaw dropped.
Shit! He's so handsome! And he's kinda familiar to me, I just can't figure out where I saw him.
He turned around and caught my eye.
He looked like he's examining my face and I quickly retrieved my look and walked away.
What was that? What did just happened?
I took a deep breath and felt a hand on my shoulders.
"Bro! Congratulations to us!"
Zhoucheng cheerfully said. I nodded at him and said. "This is a call for celebration!"
We walked happily together but made sure that no fans will see us so we sneaked slowly in my car. I drifted my thoughts to my friend and brushed off Wang Yibo's face in my mind.
