Chapter 5

727 Words
Blue's POV I couldn't hear a word the council were saying. Scenes of last night flashing constantly in my head. If The Moon Goddess and Marco hadn't have stormed through the door, I can't even imagine what would have happened.  Ty is sat with the other foxes, a far away glance in her eyes. Dracul vanished last night before anyone could touch him.  "No, he needs to come back, please don't let him leave." Her screams are still echoing in my mind. Why isn't she relieved he's not here? Having a mate was meant to be straightforward for a werewolf. But this is too complicated. Lucifer himself has been called to think about the situation. Looking at him, I can tell how he lures people into temptation. Even I can see he is one very attractive man. His tanned skin and brown hair off set by hazel eyes, he looks even bigger than Dracul as well. But his hands haven't stopped stroking the blonde hair of the woman sat next to him. Stockier built than the foxes with their delicate features, but not quite as athletic looking as the werewolves, vampires or witches in the room.  "That the Lynx you're staring at." Luka whispers in my ear. I nod and look away, but not quick enough to miss the eye contact. Her green and amber eyes connecting for a split second. Familiarity radiated from hers. But I have to push that aside. "Alpha Blue, we have a few guardians on their way. As far as we can see, there is no spell in place. But there is something that runs deeper there than Stockholm syndrome. Her heart hurts." Lucifer addresses me directly. Eyes narrowed in my direction. You never come between a devil and his Lynx. The only problem is, I find it hard to look away from them both. "It's almost like she's got two hearts. But that's not possible," the Moon Goddess interjects, the vampire next to her nodding. I watch his hands tighten at the back of the Lynx's hair as he jolts her in anger. Their eyes locked for a second as she takes a big gulp under his gaze. "I'm sure you will all think of something. If not, kill Dracul anyway possible. I don't need vermin like that out there." His eyes don't move from the lynx as he speaks to the rest of the room. "I expect to be kept updated. Now, if you don't mind I have something that needs to be addressed." Her eye's drop as he says that, before disappearing with his hands still wound aggressively in her hair. *Lycan's POV* He keeps his temper as he walks towards me. I'm already backed up against the wall and he places his hands either side of me as he kneels in front of me, but even in this position he still towers over me. "Tell me, Lycan. What have you done." He whispers gently in my ear. He learnt along time ago that shouting makes me mentally lockdown. "You know what I did." I can't look him the eye as my voice shakes. "I want you to tell me." he softly whispers in my ear before gently trailing kisses down my neck. It's my job as the Lynx to serve him however he wants. He wants things from me that I cannot give him. He pulls away and looks me dead in the eyes. "I'm waiting little Lynx." He pulls my dress over my head as he waits for me to answer. "Keegan and Tyson are both foxes. They're also my sisters."  "Well, that makes things more complicated for you doesn't it." His arms envelope me as he pulls me closer to his now bare chest. "Let me make you feel better." he knows I don't have a choice in what he asks and he lays me on the bed.  "What are you thinking about?" his voice invades my thoughts and brings me back to him being on top of me. I feel a tear slip down my cheek as he gently brushes it away, "I just wish I met you first." The sad smile we share often flashes between us, before he lowers his head and kisses me gently. "And I wish you would let me help you forget." He whispers gently into my lips. I let him have this moment as we gently make love to each other. There is no point in us both hurting.
