- Main Gate , Empress's Palace , Imperial Harem , Grand Xia Dynasty 

The road in the main gate heading to the Main Palace is decorated with peonies and water lilies, the Empress's favorite flowers. They are planted together with some fake mountains and a river. 

On the sides of the road there can be seen there is barely any servants only a few of them are standing in front of the main gate waiting for someone. When the maids heard the axle sound of carriage's they straightened their bodies up. They all can see two carriages with decorations worthy of a Prince's Secondary Wife. Some of them expectantly looking forward who is really most favored amongst the three ladies by the Third Prince.

The first one to come down is Ju LongShan who is wearing red and bright yellow from the first carriage, with Head Maid Tse. And when the second carriage door is opened the first one to come down is Tan Liqin in beige colored dress with white silk to cover Her head. Coming down the last, is Su Luxia with yellow and soft cream colored dress and coat making the many maids understand their current Third Prince's favored.

But they understand when they see Su Luxia's body and small mouth, the Third Prince's current type haven't changed much. When Ju LongShan and Tan Liqin saw the maid's around them react to Su Luxia's clothing that much, they regretted their decisions about not using the clothing the Third Prince choose for them. 

When the maids saw Ju LongShan and Tan Liqin's expressions they know they have acted inappropriately they quickly changed their expressions to a flattering smile. The eunuch's bowed their heads even lower, not daring to see the three woman's face since the Third Prince barely likes it if what He own is looked by other males, especially females.

" Let Us all go inside? " Head Maid Mu said when She saw and make some judgements Herself.

There is only the Empress, a few female musicians and some old Maid's. 

The Empress's smile brightens up when She saw the three ladies, not really caring about their clothes but Her eyes stayed a few seconds longer on Su Luxia's body. The first one coming in is Ju LongShan as the Highest Ranking among the three of them, then the two Concubines next.

" This Secondary Wife ( Concubine ) greets the Imperial Mother! Your Imperial Highness the Empress Qian Sui Qian Sui Qian Sui Qian Qian Qian Sui. " the three of them curtsied.

" Alright, Aijia have heard about the three of You. Aijia will accept whomever Zian'er likes because their attitude as the Honored Third Prince's Woman will be taught by My People. So no matter how dirty or clean You girls are, Bengong can do what Bengong likes! " The Empress said with a sharp smile and a soft tone that wont make You remember You are in front of the Mother of the World. But Her presence alone can make the World tremble in fear.

" This Secondary Wife ( Concubine ) will follow the Imperial Mother's words and instructions. " the three of them curtsied again.to the Empress. Knowing the woman in front of them will go easy on them, all three of them sighed a sigh of relief.

" Aijia is quite happy with the three of You. A good wife is someone willing to serve their Husband well with respect for the Husband's family. Aijia believe everyone that can catch the Third's eyes are good girls. But there is eventually Your families, that will be hard. " the Empress praised then poured cold water upon this girls on the end of the sentence. She is hinting some of their family members have bad and evil reputations not capable being the Third Prince's Family.

" This... This Child is willing to follow the Honored Imperial Majesty the Empress's words. " Ju LongShan and Su Luxia bowed because they don't have the chance to care for those family members. But Tan Liqin trembled and paled before answering the same. 

" Tan Liqin! Bengong heard Your Elder Brother from the same Mother have bad reputation within the red district? The Imperial Family can't accept those matters. " the Empress reprimanded and Tan Liqin lowered Her head before slowly kneeling " Imperial Mother... can this lowly Concubine ask about this matter to the Third Prince first? " 

When Tan Liqin surprisingly negotiated the agreement, the Empress didn't get angry but smiled to Tan Liqin. " Aijia will approve this matter. The Third's matters and strategy isn't in Aijia's capability so You must have something of equal value for His matters. " the Empress's expression is comfortable.

" Alright, all of You wait here and sit here. The Imperial Kitchen is preparing the food for all of You. " the Empress lightly declared.

After a few moments the Imperial Kitchen's servants arrived and they brought with them hot pipping food and a few cups of soups.

There is a special bowl with dragon as the bottom, the insides are surprisingly red colored water. 

" This is a soup for fertility, an exceptional soup with a sure fire chance to conceive. " the imperial chef declared with pride and His hands surprisingly moved about everywhere. The girls drink the soup like it is treasure, especially Ju LongShan and Tan Liqin who have heard about the recipe and the worth.

" Aijia have seen this recipe from the Third Prince's treasure? The bowl is from the Emperor's war trophy? " the Empress said with a smile and Her eyes soften.

" This Concubine have heard about this recipe, it seems to come from the southern areas? " Tan Liqin asked with curiosity on Her eyes. 

" Yes it is true, it is something that Zian'er won for Us Imperial Women. The common people might need more then gold and power to accept this. " the Empress proudly said.
