Ready for Dinner
[Juniper] I smiled to myself as I got ready for dinner. I was getting better at remembering ‘dinner’ instead of ‘supper’. Finally, I was moving forward and I actually felt strong for the first time in years. Last night, Kenny had me talk to more than just the people Jaxon recommended. She called Red, Trace, Beau, and Bobbi. They all told me about how much Jaxon had done for me. Bobbi told me what he’d said to her on my birthday after the kiss. She told me how she’d worried that my past would cause us problems and how proud she was of me for talking to people before running away.
