"From the hospital?" Mirabel asked as her heart beat faster than usual, that is what she has been avoiding. She was scared of the unknown but now there is nowhere for her to hide or run to, she needs to face it heads up.
"Umm, you can drop it there," she pointed at the table. "Okay ma'am," the guy responded and dropped the file on the table.
"Babe," Adrian called as he got down the stairs. "There is a document from the hospital," she said.
"There is?" He asked. "Yes, it's on the table," she said and his gaze went to the brown envelope on the table at the top right corner with the hospital logo.
He picked it up and tore it open, he read the content nervously and a smile appeared on his lips when he saw the result.
"It's positive Mirabel, the girl is mine! I'm a father!" He yelled excit
