Hannah pace around Adrian's office restlessly, she has been waiting for them (Adrian and Mirabel) but they have not shown up for work.
She decided to call Adrian to show a sign of concern, he picked up on the third rang and she smiled.
"Hello sir," she greeted first. "Hey Hannah," he replied.
"Sir, it is almost noon and you are not in the office, hope you are fine?" She asked taking slow steps up and down.
"Yeah thanks for caring, something came up so we won't be coming today," he replied referring to Mirabel too.
'Why today of all days?' Hannah thought as she tightened her fist.
"Hannah? Are you still there?" He asked when he got no response.
"Yes, there is a file here that requires your documents," she lied playing with her fingers.
