Mirabel kept calling her husband while Chloe kept rejecting it, she (Chloe) got frustrated and switched off the phone.
"The number you are calling is currently unavailable, please l leave a message after the beep," a female voice told her as she kept trying.
"Where are you, Adrian?" She groaned as she hit her phone on her palm and paced around his office.
"Mrs. Gonzalez," the secretary called coming into the office. "Hey," Mirabel said dryly.
"Is Mr. Gonzalez still not picking up?" He asked and Mirabel nodded sadly. "He is supposed to pick you up isn't he?" He asked and Mirabel nodded.
"He might have a dead battery we should wait for a few more minutes, I'll take you home if he isn't here," he said and Mirabel nodded.
She didn't need someone to take her home but she needed her husba
