The word breaking my heart rang in Mirabel's ear as she kept a straight face. "Don't ignore me," Adrian pleaded.
"I don't even understand what I did wrong," he mumbled but she heard him loud and clear since he was standing close.
"Are you mad at the fact that I tried to touch you?" He asked. "You don't get it, do you?" She asked turning to face him.
"I don't," he replied and she almost smiled forgetting she was mad at him. "That girl called Hannah is in love with you and she is ready to do whatever it takes to take you away from me," she explained with pains in her heart.
