Mirabel felt liquid on her cheek, she wiped it immediately not to give Adrian any reason to think she is weak because she is in love with him.
"You are right, I have a short-termed memory I don't know why, I forgot all this was fake and crossed a boundary," she said and let out a sad smile.
"I should head back to the party," she said and left. "I fúcked up again!" He groaned and ran his hand through his hair.
Mirabel let her emotions out with her silent tears, she didn't scream but just sobbed silently hugging her leg to herself.
"Why are you crying, Mirabel? You knew he didn't love you and he never will yet you cry over him, you are such an i***t," she uttered hitting herself as tears streamed down her cheek.
