Donna stood by the window and watched Adrian drive wildly out of her sight, he could end up in an accident at that speed.
"You can come out now, he is gone," Donna said and Mirabel stood up, she was hiding behind the counter.
She walked away from it and stood at the nearest window, she watched the empty road as tears dropped on her cheek.
She wiped it and turn to face Donna. "Thank you," she muttered with a sad smile.
