I was sitting on my chair next to Nadia, holding her hand against my cheek. My heart was beating out of my chest as I struggled with my decision to leave her side. I knew it was for her own good, but I felt uneasy.
“Everything is in order.” Kim said from the doorway of my room, making me turn in my chair toward her.
I kissed Nadia’s hand before releasing it so I could walk towards Kim. I didn’t know how much my luna could hear in that state, so I didn’t want her to stress.
