*Caleb’s POV*
“May the best alpha win.” He said as he started the timer.
As soon as I heard his words, I positioned myself. We circled each other as Dexter and I waited for the timer to go off. It was the longest thirty seconds of my life. After the timer went off, Dexter swung a few times, making me smirk. He was so predictable. He was letting his emotions lead him and I was going to take advantage of that. You can be the strongest alpha in the world, but if you let your emotions guide you, failure is what you will get.
“Seems like your age is catching up with you.” I taunted him, making him growl at me.
He was obviously my dad’s age, so he was prone to getting tired faster. Lack of meals and proper sleep also worked against him.
