“What’s going on?” Hunter asked, suddenly getting serious as his grip around my waist tightened.
“I need you at my pack house like fūcking yesterday!” He growled as a piercing screām echoed in the background, making Hunter furrow his brows.
“Is that Nadia?” Hunter questioned as his wide eyes moved towards mine.
“Yes.” Caleb shouted, causing even me to jump. What the heck was going on? “Her water broke and I’m not sure if the doctor will be able to gather nurses and make it back in time. We didn’t think she was due for another—”
“f**k!” Nadia growled again, making Caleb whisper soothing words away from the phone before panicking again.
