*Nadia’s POV*
I stretched slowly on my bed, instantly reaching for Caleb, only to find his side of the bed empty and cold. I opened my eyes and lifted my head to look around the room, finding it empty as well.
“Caleb?” I called out in a croaky voice before clearing my throat.
When I didn’t hear him respond, I threw my head back against the pillow before mind linking him.
“Good morning, my queen.” He greeted me, making me smile.
“Where are you? I’m cold.” I whined as he chuckled.
“I’m in the training wing with Caspian. We didn’t want to wake you, my love. You were so tired.” He replied, earning a sigh from me. He’s so thoughtful.
I was about to reply when he spoke suddenly. “Why don’t you get ready? I’d like to take you out.” He said, making me sit up abruptly with a huge smile.
