CHAPTER SEVEN LONDON, FRIDAY 16 JUNE 1944 It does not happen often but there are times when a special document for the Admiralty must be completed and delivered on the same day. This is just such a day and Mr Simpson has asked Elsie to stay an extra half hour to finish it so that he can send the boy round to deliver it on time.
