Chapter sixteen

Emily:

The rest of the afternoon went smoothly. The hall looked amazing. Sam and Jess did an amazing job. Louise had come up to help me get ready while Joseph headed straight down to start organising his speech and making sure he greeted ever pack member. As soon as I was done i headed down to meet him.

“Wow baby. You look amazing. You know this is technically only a pack meeting. So although I did need you to look formal maybe not that formal” he laughed. I giggle with him.

“Yes I thought Louise was going alittle over board but I didn’t want to upset her by saying anything so here we are”. I smile at him. As the pack arrives we greet them and tell them which area to wait. The pack isn’t very big compared to others and everyone arrived on time.

“Hello everyone as you know I’m your king Joseph and this is my mate Emily. I would like to firstly say Thankyou all for coming. There have been a few rumours going on about the where abouts of Alpha William. For those of you who were at training today you know why we are all here. We are here as Alpha William is being stripped of his title due to the treatment of pack members”. People start mumbling to themselves “ And a new Alpha is being appointed. This is not an official ceremony. I would like to see how the new Alpha does for a few months first. I’m putting my trust in this person that they can bring this pack back from the brink. The new Alpha is Beta Michael.” Everyone cheers. Sam brings Michael up to the front. “Michael I know we haven’t spoken about you taking the Alpha title”.

“ I except. Please. I promise I can do better then William. And Emily I’m so sorry about what happened. I won’t lair I always thought you were really pretty but I never wanted to hurt you. I hated every moment of it”.

“It’s ok Michael. Thankyou for the apology”. My mate calmly says.

“Please don’t except my apology yet. I would like to earn your trust back”. My mate nods at him. I’m very proud of her for how well she’s handling herself even though I can feel how scared she is.

“Like I said. This isn’t an officially ceremony. I will be staying for a few days to help you get organised then I will be leaving. I will be leaving a few men though to help make sure you stay on track and to help with any vampire attacks”

“I understand”.

“Well then Welcome to the new Alpha of the blood moon pack. Alpha Michael!”. Everyone cheers again.

“Thankyou King Joseph. I won’t let you down”.

After the meeting everyone went out back and enjoyed some light canapés. I watched as Michael went around and spoke to almost every pack member. Before long it was dark and people started heading home.

Alpha. There’s a vampire at the eastern border wanting to talk to Alpha William. He said his got a message from the vampire king.

The vampire king? What could the Vampire king possible want with William?

I’m on my way

“Sam!”

“Yes sir?”.

“We are needed at the eastern border”.

“Honey is there a problem?”. Emily asks me.

“I’m not sure. But I will find out”. Why don’t you head up to our room and I will meet you there later? Actually I would like to take Alpha Michael with us. This could be important for him to”.

“ No problem sir I’ll grab him”.

“ Ok baby”. Emily gives me a kiss on the cheek and leans into my ear. “By the way. I am 100% sure about you marking.” She nibs on my ear abit before she walks away. Oh wow. My mate is so hot. Sam arrived back with Michael and we all shift heading straight for the eastern border.

Sarah:

Wow this pack is pathetic. I’ve been watching them all afternoon and there just a pack of loser. I don’t think this new Alpha Michael can fix that. They all seem like a load of pricks. All the guys are ugly, not a descent person here to f**k. Not that I want to f**k anyone other then the king. He should be mine but that little b***h has somehow got him wrapped around her little finger.

“Did you see how beautiful Emily looked tonight?”. A bunch of omegas walk past me. Beautiful? Ha yeah right. That red hair is so last season.

“I know! She’s so lucky! Going from a slave to a queen. Like wow. I hope I find my mate soon”.

“Excuse me? I just heard you talking about our new queen”. I ask sweetie.

“Yeah. Isn’t she amazing? She’s going to be so great!”.

“Yeah. Sure. What were you saying about her being a slave?”.

“Oh she use to be a slave for the pack. Alpha William treated her like absolutely s**t. No one was allowed to talk to her but then the king came and found her and now look at her! Her beautiful is define isn’t it?” The one with the blonde hair says. This is the girl his choosing over me. A slave. No one will take her as there Queen. His f*****g everything up.

“I always thought she was gorgeous even in the crazy maid dress he use to make her wear”. The short hair one butts in.

Maid dress. Hmmmmm. Perfect.

“It’s a shame all those horrible things Alpha William use to do to her though. At the beginning you could hear her screams echo though the house it was heart breaking”.

“Yeah but no one ever had the courage to go against the Alpha.”

“Well Thankyou for that ladies”.

I have one more chance to get my man back and this time I have to do it right. I will not f**k this up.
