I stumbled, catching myself against the wall. I spun around to see a tall she-wolf glaring at me, flanked by two other girls. Her eyes were narrowed, and her lips were curled into a sneer.
"I saw you with Ryan near the Cells," she hissed, her voice low and threatening. She flipped back her light-brown hair and narrowed her hazel eyes. "Stay away from him, or you'll regret it."
My heart pounded in my chest, a knot of fear forming in my stomach. I opened my mouth to respond, but she and her goons had already turned on her heel and stalked away.
What did she mean, she saw me with Ryan? And why did she care? Wait… was she his girlfriend? Or was she one of many, jealous of any female attention he received?
