Domestic Disrupt

The week passed quickly for Loren, so quickly that he barely noticed how long he had been staying under the same roof as Gregory. It had not really occurred to him, even when he had to return to his parents’ home for more clothes. He really was falling into a comfortable routine with Gregory. They would take turns preparing breakfast, more often than not they would work together. Loren was particular for making larger dinners that would have leftovers. He felt that leftovers made good lunches for a couple days after. Very few incidents happened during the week, though many of the nights found Gregory in Loren’s bed. Loren had nearly no nights of troubled sleep. Zeala seemed calmed by the closeness of Gregory, enjoying the comfort of contact with Pelian. Gregory seemed to be in a good mood most of the time, rarely pushing the limits with Loren. He had even left Loren alone when the younger man wanted to work on his whittling in his second room. Life seemed to fit together pretty well for the young Alpha and his mate. That is until Loren went to spend time with friends, which left Gregory home alone, thinking of his mate being with others. While the young wolf was gone, Gregory had a hard time wanting to eat lunch, or even getting to work in his office. Pelian seemed to be pacing, causing Gregory to pace. The Alpha was having trouble putting Loren from his mind for some reason. He tried to shower, he tried making himself go through the list of pack members, nothing seemed to help distract him. It was not until Loren came in the front door that Gregory could seem to do anything with a straight thought. The problem was that Pelian was instantly on the attack. Gregory came out of his office and tracked Loren up the stairs. At the landing, Gregory grabbed Loren’s arm and turned him, pinning him to the wall. Loren gasped and tried to resist a bit. Gregory pressed his torso against Loren’s, burying his nose in the smaller teen’s neck and inhaling his scent. Loren struggled a little, before sighing and letting his head tilt back against the wall. He was not really okay with Gregory being so forceful, but at least it was just sniffing and not anything more s****l. He closed his eyes and tried to just wait it out. Once Gregory seemed to relax a little, Loren relaxed some himself. He hoped this meant that Gregory was about to let go and return to work. He was surprised when hands landed on his hips and pulled him closer. “Gregory, what are you doing?” Loren snapped, hands going to Gregory’s to try and remove them. “I don’t know, Pelian wants more.” Gregory pant against Loren’s neck. “More what?!” Loren cried out, not wanting to find out. Gregory did not say. He just tightened his hands on Loren’s hips and groaned. Pelian wanted to touch every part of its mate and hold its mate close. Loren was an unwitting player in this scenario, being the human form of Zeala. Those hands on his hips started to try and sneak under the edges of Loren’s picture tee-shirt. A noise of surprise escaped Loren as he squirmed to try and escape. He was not sure he could handle Gregory if the situation was going to get more hands on. “Please, stop.” Loren gasped out, hands going to Gregory’s shoulders to push him away. “‘Ren.” Gregory muttered against Loren’s neck. A shiver went up Loren’s spine at hearing that nickname said against his skin. Feeling Loren quiver beneath his lips, Gregory’s eyes shifted to red. He opened his mouth and grazed his teeth over sensitive skin at the side of Loren’s neck. A whine escaped Loren, his eyes flashing an emerald color as Zeala reached the surface for a moment. As his wolf tried to take over, Loren could feel his body react to the closeness of his mate. That thought excited his body but scared his mind. Was he going to give in to the Alpha? It took a moment of them being pressed together, but Gregory pulled away a little. His eyes were still red and he looked a bit out of breath. He stared at Loren’s neck, not sure what he was going to do next. “Go…” He muttered to Loren as he pulled his hands away. Loren did not need another order, he quickly slipped away and went to his bedroom. Closing and locking the door behind him, he sat on the floor there. Loren had no idea where the moment had been going, but was thankful for Gregory’s sudden moment of sanity. How far was it going to go, if he had not moved when told? Suddenly, there was a small bang on the door as Gregory’s body hit Loren’s door. A feral sounding growl came from the other side of the wooden door. Loren froze, a bit of fear rising in him. That sound was definitely not human, so Pelian must have taken over. Loren covered his ears, trying to block out the noise of his mate’s growls. Finding that that did not help, he pulled his phone from his back pocket. Turning on music, he crawled away from the door over to his bed. He could not believe that he was being protected from his mate by a thick slat of wood. Loren pulled a blanket off his bed and laid it over himself as he sat curled up on the floor. He listened to growls and sniffing for at least an hour, surprised that Pelian had not busted through the door already. The Alpha was more than capable of breaking through if he wanted. Loren started from dozing when there was a normal knocking on the door. He was shocked to find that he had apparently fallen asleep sitting against his bed. He refused to get up, even though he was certain that Gregory must be back in control to knock. “Sorry.” Was the only comment, before Gregory walked off. Getting up slowly, Loren went to the door to listen as Gregory walked away. He finally gave a sigh of relief once he heard a door down the hall open and then close. As it now felt safe, he grabbed some clothes and left his room. Heading for the bathroom, he watched Gregory’s door from the short distance that separated them. Showering, Loren tried to think of all the things that could have triggered Pelian into being so aggressive. At least he could be thankful that Gregory had good enough control of his wolf spirit to not break down the door. That would have ended terribly for both of them. Zeala whined, apparently having wanted for Pelian to take the door down. Then the wolves would have gotten their way and the mates would be fully connected. Loren shivered a bit and then focused on finishing his shower. No need to dwell on something that did not happen.
