The next day, I was woken by a phone ringing. April stirred next to me but didn't wake up. I reached over and grabbed the phone and saw that it was Richie. I silenced the phone and got out of bed carefully not to wake her. I looked at the time and groaned because it was still too early to be up for the weekend. I walked into the kitchen and started the coffee. I was just about to call him back when my phone rang again with Richie's name flashing on the screen.
