Sarah:I also regret very much that you of all women had to be the mother-in-law to my daughter.

Doctor:I know it's hard for you to accept but you have a miscarriage and you need a quick surgical procedure.

Claire:I won't allow you to do such a thing to my baby!

David:Claire!Stop this nonsense!

Air hostess:Miss?Are you okay?

Claire:I just told you am fine!I don't need anything!

Air hostess:Am sorry for the disturbance.(continues

serving the other passengers)

Passenger:(next to Claire)I can see and i feel that

you are not okay.Tell me.You can share

it with me.I'll be happy to help.Hmm?

Claire:I just remembered something from my past.

Passenger:(smacks her lips)Is it about or

something to do with your family?

Claire:(sighs)It's my mother-in-law.She hates me.

Passenger:(surprised)OMG,you are married?But you

are so young.

Claire:Who,me?You must be joking.Am only 25

years old.

Passenger:Oh,you know what,my son is 20 years

old now.He is studying medicine in

Singapore.That's why am headed there.

Claire:Wow!That's so great.

Passenger:It's only that you are married.I would

have introduced him to you and you may

have bonded and get married.

Claire:(flays her hand)Oh come on.But am old than

him with five years.

Passenger:Is there a problem?You know what,age is

just a number.You could be his sugar

mommy probably.(pats on Claire)Well,

isn't that what this generation believes?

Claire:(also laughs)Well you have a point there miss

Passenger:(holds on Claire's hand)But remember,i

don't advice you to do so.Okay?I can

you wanted to tell me something to do

with your mother-in-law.

Claire:(changes the happy face expression and

fluffs some strands of hair to the back of

her right ear)

(Ladesma's mansion(11:21 am)

(Katharine,Carmen and David arrive)

David:Carmen,go to your room.

Carmen:Okay daddy.(leaves)

Katharine:Sir,i'll prepare something for you to eat.

David:Prepare Carmen's too and bring it upstairs.

(goes upstairs)

Katharine:Okay.

(Manilla Highway(Jeska and Roxannie in a car

Jeska:Roxy,let me ask you something.Are you really

mad that Claire is gone away from your son?

I mean,you always wanted her out of the

picture completely since the beggining.So,

why be mad now that she is leaving?

(applying gel on her hair)

Roxannie:(drives the car out of the road and parks

it)

Jeska:Wait.Why did we stop?

Roxannie:(exhales strongly)Jes,do you think that i

am mad because she is gone? Am very

happy you know,and you of all people

know that ever step i take or any action

that i put into place has an account.

Jeska:So, what are you planning to do.

Roxannie:It's so simple for me to plan things now

within the two years before Claire comes

back to the country.

Jeska:I don't understand.

Roxannie:(fluffs her hair)David has to marry legally

now.

Passenger:Claire,am a mother too and i understand

what you are going through.Did your

mother-in-law make you to leave your

family?

Claire:No,actually,am going for a spa project.

Passenger:I bet you are a model.So,you have your

own spa in the Philippines?What's the

name of your spa?

Claire:Symphony skin care and beauty spa.

Passenger:That's great.You know what,i've always

bought your lotion ever since the

company started and my skin has been

improving though am old.I bet you are

a professional model.

Claire:Thank you so much madam.I wish you were

my mother in law.

Passenger:Oh stop it.Let's get back to family

matters.So you told me that you once

had a miscarriage.Right?

Claire:Yes but am suspicious it was a miscarriage

because all i ever did was to take good care

of my pregnancy because i very much

wanted to have my own first child.I never

took anything that would harm my child and

if i did,somebody must have had a hand in it.

Passenger:Well, don't you think your mother-in-law

had something to do with it?Maybe she

poisoned you or something.

Claire:I don't think so because i never took anything

to eat from her and all the food that i ate i

prepared it with my own hands.

Passenger:Well,you should dig dipper and find

justice for your baby before it's too late

Claire.

Claire:You mean?

Passenger:Investigate the miscarriage until you get

to know the root cause of your child's

death.Okay?Don't let it slide just like

that.

Claire:(nods her head in acceptance)I will.

(Manilla Highway(Roxannie's car)

Jeska:What do you mean.But Claire is already

married legally to David.

Roxannie:And who said so?Do you think that am a

fool?I did something nice before the

wedding you know.(flashbacks)

(County director's office)

Roxannie:(seated on a black chair)Roman,i need

your help.

Roman:How may i help you?(places his hands on

the desk)

Roxannie:I need you to prepare me a fake marriage

certificate.

Roman:(removes his spectacles)Are you out of your

mind Roxannie?How do you expect me to

do such a horrible thing.

Roxannie:(removes a cheque of a hundred

thousand shillings from her purse and

places it on Roman's desk)Won't you

help me now?

Roman:You know that i can't do that.I may end up

losing my job.

Roxannie:But we've been friends for so long.

Roman:I'm sorry i won't help you.I can't risk my job.

Roxannie:You have to coz you still owe me.I once

did you a favour in my daughter's skin

care company.Your ugly daughter got her

spotty skin treated in the spa for free and

that gave her a reason to smile once

more.Now,make me smile also.Hmm?

(moves the cheque close to Roman)You

have to do this since you have no option.

Roxannie:(rubs his hair)Fine.

Roxannie:Well, Good boy.

(Flashback is over)

Jeska:OMG!You are something else Roxy.Am proud

of you girl.

Roxannie:Did you ever think that i would ever allow

that scumbag to be a Ladesma?Over my

dead body.

Jeska:How are you going to convince David if he

finds out.

Roxannie:Jes,you of all people know that i have my

own ways of doing things especially

when i want something very bad.

Jeska:Just make sure you don't land in trouble you

know.

Roxannie:(chuckles)I am an eagle.Usually eagles

are known to head towards trouble by

soaring to greater heights and they end

up conquering.Anyways,let's go.

Jeska:Where are we headed to now.

Roxannie:Am going to check on David.(ons the car

and leaves)
