the door)Sir,will you have something to

eat?(holding on a serving tray of food)

Passenger:Now,listen dear,remember what i have

told you.But it was nice having a chat

with you.

Claire:(nods in acceptance)

Cedric:(approaches Claire and the old woman)

Claire:Oh,Cedric,Aaam,madam,this is Cedric.

Katharine:(goes into Carmen's room)Carmen,it's

time for lunch.

Carmen:Am not hungry.

Katharine:But i prepared your favourite "kare" "kare"

and oats.

Carmen:I told you am not hungry aunt Kathy!

(David's room)

David:(talking to Claire through a video call)So you

are already in Singapore?

Claire:Yes,actually this place is so nice.I love the

food here,the cool breeze and everything

else.Ha,it's so cool.

David:So,did you get to meet your instructor?

Claire:Mhm,we are even having lunch in this cool

restaurant.

David:Can i see the guy?

Claire:Sure,you can.

(Carmen's room)

Katharine:Carmen,if you have a taste of this,you are

(scoops a spoonful of oats and nears it

Carmen:(slaps the spoon away from her face)You

Claire:(pulls back her phone just when she is about

to show Cedric to David)Hold on.I think i

heard Carmen exclaim just now.Is she okay?

David:I'll go check up on her.

Claire:Don't hang up.I want to talk to her.

(Outside the mansion)

(Roxannie packs the car and comes out with

Jeska). (Carmen's room)

Katharine:Calm down honey.

David:(gets in the room)What's going on here.

Katharine:Aaam,Carm.....

Carmen:(gets up and goes close to David)Daddy,

aunt Kathy is forcing me to eat and i

already told her that i am not hungry.

Claire:(voice on the phone)Let me try talking to her.

David:Okay.(hands the phone to Carmen)Talk to

mommy.

Carmen:(smiling)Mommy,are you in Singapore?I

hate aunt Kathy.

Claire:(in a soothing voice)Dear,i told you that good

girls don't hate people.Right?

Carmen:But i want you to come and feed me

Claire:I will but for now,allow aunt Kathy to feed you

for me.Okay?And then you should apologise

to aunt Kathy.

Carmen:Mhm,Okay mommy.(looks at Katharine)Am

sorry aunt Kathy.

Roxannie:(gets into the room with Jeska)

David:Oh,mom,aunt,what are you doing here.

Roxannie:Can't i check on my son?And what in the

world is happening here.

Carmen:Grandma Roxy,am talking with mommy on

video call.(shows it to Roxannie)

Roxannie:(takes the phone and looks at Claire

badly)

Claire:Hi there mom.

Roxannie:What?Mom?I think it's now family time.

(hangs up the call)

Claire:(groans)

Cedric:Whatsup?You've changed all of a sudden.

Claire:It's my mother-in-law.I don't know what's her

problem.She is always a pain in the neck.

Cedric:What has she done this time.Tell me.

Claire:She hanged up the phone on me and said

that it was family time as if am not one of

them.She is so arrogant.

Cedric:I have told you countless times to leave that

family but you never listen to me.Claire,there

are many men in the world worthy to love

you unconditionally.

Claire:What do you mean.That i should leave my

husband and Carmen and get married

elsewhere?

Cedric:Exactly.That's the only option you have.Open

your eyes already.Move on.

Claire:(fluffs her hair)I won't leave them.I'll have to

fight until my last breath to get what i want.

I have lost my appetite already.Let's go.

food.(continues to eat)

David:Mom,meet Katharine.This is the new nanny

Carmen:Thank you grandma Roxy.

Roxannie:I'll leave now.Jes,let's go.

Claire:(talking with Sarah via video call)Mom,hi.

Sarah:(on phone)Hi,thanks goodness you arrived

safely dear.How is it there?

Claire:Oh, it's peaceful,beautiful and lovely.

Sarah:Well,that's good to know.So where are you

staying?

Claire:At my friends.My college boy friend Cedric.

Sarah:(shocked)Claire are out of your mind?What if

he r***s you like he once intended to you in

college.

Claire:Mom,am now a grown up.I can take care of

myself.I won't allow him to lure me or put

his hands on me mom.

Sarah:Make sure you take care of yourself.By tha

way,Roxannie came to the spa and made a

scene infront of people you know.

Claire:I don't understand what's the problem with

her always.She never relates with us well.Did

she hurt you or embarrass you in any way?

Katharine:Hello,mom,i won't be coming back home

soon.

Marissa:(voice on the phone)See,i told you they

would offer you a trip.

Katharine:It's only Claire who went.

Marissa:Wait,they never went for their honeymoon?

Katharine:They couldn't make it since Claire had a

spa project to attend to in Singapore.

Marissa:Well,that must be so bad and sad for David

send you.

Cedric:(peeping into Claire's room and admire her

as she applies lotion on her body and

combing her long hair)

Claire:(notices the door opened slightly closes it)

Cedric:(opens the door slightly once more and

checks on her as she puts on her night

dress)

Anyone there?Cedric?Is that you?

(flashbacks her mom's voice)

Sarah:What if he r***s you like he once intended

to do to you?(flashback is over)

Claire:(walks towards the door,opens,checks if

there is someone and locks the door)

Cedric:(exhales as he gets out from under a flower

table where he was hiding)That was so

close.(sighs)

Katharine:Because it is my responsibility to make sure i take care of the two of you.

Jeska:Hey,coz.What's burning your thoughts?

Roxannie:I think i already got a perfect match for David.

Cedric:Claire,i need your help.

Claire:What can i help you with?
