My room is quiet. Too quiet.
I haven’t been allowed to do anything for the past two days. I wasn’t permitted to leave my room. Killian ordered me to rest. I’ve never been the type of person who stays in bed. Probably because I’ve never had a reason to. However, I won’t deny that I slept for over twenty-six hours after my fall. I couldn’t believe it when I woke up and was told. I had never slept so long!
I can’t deny that I’ve been bored out of my mind, stuck in this room with no one to talk to. I haven’t even seen Miriam, so I don’t know how she’s doing. Though Killian did tell me that Miriam and Todd were mates. I almost died of shock!
But if anyone deserves to be loved, it’s Miriam. I’m so happy for her, and I pray that Todd treats her right. I bet Wendy’s face was a picture w
