Chapter #1 - Flick Neji Reckless

It was a peaceful morning in the kingdom of Marita-Belfort . It's been a busy morning of Monday , everyone were busy in there work , suddenly a man came running between peoples . He was chased by the 2 local law takers , he ran into a dead end and he has no where to go , local law makers surrounded him in the dead end and said ,

" Finally ! we got you Flick ... "

Flick ,

" Hey ! listen , I wasn't stealing anything , I was just helping that old lady ... "

Local law takers ,

" By taking her belongings and running away , now come close so that I can take you to the law court .... "

Flick ,

" I wasn't ready to do that but if you insist then , here are my hands and take me to the law court ... "

Flick raised his hands towards them , law takers came closer to him , when they were about to tie his hands with the rope , flick threw a egg on the ground and it created a smoke , law takers stunned with the sudden smoke for a while , when smoke fed up Flick wasn't there and he escape , law taker Maroon shouts ,

" FLICK ! YOU PIECE OF s**t ! "

Flick walked inside a bar where he sat down on the counter table and said ,

" Hey Marlin ! how are you man ? "

Bar tender ,

" f**k off ! I won't serve you anything until you clear the debt ... "

Flick ,

" Relax ! I have something to trade ... "

Flick gave him some coins and a big origami piece . Bar tender took a look and said ,

" It will be fine for now , but it isn't worth more then just 2 drinks ... "

Flick ,

" It will be fine for me .. "

Bar tender served him drinks , while Flick was drinking , a man came and sit right beside him wearing a traditional clothes of France with a hood on him , he ordered the same drink as Flick , man said ,

" I have came to ask you one more Time Flick .. "

Flick ,

" I told you before and I'm still saying the same , I won't join your creed Armonk .. "

Armonk ,

" You have a gift that you can't even imagine , how unique it is and we can taught you how to use this just come with us Flick ... "

Flick ,

" I don't have time for your nonsense talks , you can find someone else to believe in your pathetic cause .. "

Armonk ,

" Your father must be very disappointed , he choose as his successor , he wanted to you achieve what he couldn't achieve in his life ... "

Flick ,

" Did I asked him ? Did I told him to choose me as his successor ? Besides what that old man achieved in his life nothing , he left me and my mother all by ourself and didn't even asked us or tried to know what we been going through , all he do was to talk nonsense about the creed ... "

Armonk ,

" Your father was a well known assassin , he served his whole life for the creed and you are saying that you don't even care about him ... "

Flick ,

" Why do I care about him ? No matter what you do , I won't join the brotherhood Armonk ... "

Armonk ,

" Fine then , I'm leaving tonight but I will leave you this map , it has the location marked where our brotherhood located in here and as well with a key in case you ever change your mind ... "

Flick ,

" That won't happen .. "

Armonk stood up and exit the bar . Flick keep drinking till night .

Then Flick walked back to his place at the top of the clock tower where he laid down on a blanket that was laying on the floor , he was watching the map and thinking about joining the brotherhood but then he threw the map into a corner and went to sleep .

In morning Flick woke up by his friend Marlo , he threw water at his face and shouts ,

" WAKE UP ! YOU LAZY SNOOZE ASS .. "

Flick shockingly woke up , he sit down and said ,

" Could you be more polite while waking me up .. "

Marlo ,

" I was but you didn't woke up ... "

Flick ,

" Well ! forget that , what's the matter ? "

Marlo ,

" I saw some foreign traders , they are buying a lot things , they must have a lot of coins with them , and you know the rest ... "

Flick ,

" Yeah ! fine , I will but let me get fresh first .. "

Suddenly a eagle came at Flick and sat down right beside him , Marlo was stunned when he saw that eagle , Marlo asked ,

" Hey ! why didn't you told me that you trained a eagle ? "

Flick ,

" I didn't even know my self , it's not mine .. "

Flick touches his wings and hand but eagle didn't do anything , Marlo said ,

" If you don't mind , can I touch it ? "

Flick ,

" Yeah sure .. "

Marlo came closer to touch the eagle but eagle bit his hand , Marlo shocked to see the eagle bite his hand and didn't bitten Flick , he said ,

" What the hell ? "

Flick ,

" I think he doesn't want you to touch him ... "

Marlo ,

" Alright ! fine , come on now get fresh and let's go .. "

Flick wear his clothes and walked down the clock tower , they head towards the bazaar ( Market place ) , Flick ask ,

" Now where is it ? "

Marlo ,

" I swear , I saw those traders here ... "

Flick hit him on his head and said ,

" You should have at least confirmed , now find someone else ... "

Flick suddenly saw law takers guarding the market place , Flick said ,

" Look law takers , come on this way .. "

They ran inside a flower shop and stay hidden , a lady approached Marlo and asked ,

" Sir ! can I help you in something ? "

Marlo ,

" No ! we are just here to see what kind of shop , it is .. "

Flick was watching out from the window and when he looked back at the girl , the girl was so beautiful that he freezes for some time , when she made eye contact with Flick , she feels awkward and walked away , Marlo looked outside the window , when the law takers gone , he said ,

" Flick ! let's go ... "

Flick ,

" You go , wait outside I will catch up with you in a while .. "

Marlo ,

" What ? Are you kidding me ? If law takers saw me then I will be screwed and you as well .. "

Flick ,

" Don't worry , I won't take too long , just wait for me outside , I will catch up with you .. "

Marlo ,

" Seriously man .. "

Marlo walked outside and waited for him . Flick walked towards the counter where that lady was standing , lady again feels awkward the way Flick was starring at her , she asked again ,

" Sir ? Do you need something ? "

Flick ,

" I want some flowers for my ahh huh ...... My brother .. "

Lady ,

" Alright ! what kind of flowers do you want ? "

Flick ,

" Like you .. "

Lady got shocked and asked ,

" What ? "

Flick ,

" I mean beautiful flowers like you , what about these , how much these flowers cost ? "

Flick picked up some white flower , Lady replied ,

" It will cost 1 silver coin .. "

Flick hand him two coins and he gave him those flowers and said ,

" These are for you .. "

Lady shocked and didn't know what to do , she took them and asked ,

" Thank you but why ? "

Flick ,

" You know , there aren't many special persons in my life but when I saw you , I felt a connection that I can't express .. "

Lady starts blushing and shy , Flick asked her ,

" By the way , what's your name ? "

Lady ,

" My name's Bella .. "

Flick ,

" Such a beautiful name .. "

Suddenly Marlo enters the shop and shouts ,

" Flick ! They are coming .. "

Flick shocked and said to Bella ,

" My sweetheart , I will see you soon but for now I have to run .. "

Flick ran outside the shop , Bella got confused about what happened suddenly , she saw the flowers in her hands and smelled them , she smiled and get back to work .

Flick and Marlo ran toward a alley where law takers were standing and waiting for them , Flick and Marlo ran back but more law takers blocked there way , they were trapped in the middle of the alley , Maroon walked up in front and said ,

" Finally ! I got two fishes with one stone .. "

Flick ,

" Hey ! now Maroon calm down , maybe we can sort things out , I have some coins with me here if you want them , I can give you all of these .. "

Maroon ,

" Well that's not a bad deal but no , after what you done I will punish you ... "

Flick ,

" Hey ! now if you want to punish me for sleeping with your wife then that wasn't my fault , it was her who seduce me to sleep with her .. "

Maroon ,

" And you slept with her and stole all the money from my house as well .. "

Flick ,

" Well that wasn't necessary but you kept those coins under that bed , who would have done that at least keep them in a safe place .. "

Maroon ,

" FLICK ! I WILL KILL YOU , I SWEAR .. "

Flick ,

" Try then ... "

Flick again threw smoke eggs on the floor and climbed on the roof of the house with Marlo , Maroon ran toward the smoke but he didn't find anyone , Flick and Marlo kept running away from the bazaar place from the roofs of the houses , after running a few blocks away , Marlo got exhausted and said ,

" f**k ! I told you it will turn ugly , now we can't go back to bazaar .. "

Flick ,

" Relax ! we will figure something out .. "

Marlo and Flick in the night sitting on a street tea cafe , having some tea , Marlo asked ,

" We been here for 4 hours . Why exactly are we here ? "

Flick ,

" Don't ask any questions just keep your eye on people ... "

Flick suddenly saw a girl wearing a rug on her face , walking fast with a bag of coins in her hands , Flick stood up from the chair , throw some coins on the table and said ,

" Let's go Marlo .. "

Marlo stood up and walked with Flick , Flick covered his mouth with his rug and asked Marlo to do the same , Flick said ,

" Now listen , when I steal his bag , you push her from behind , it will give us the time to escape .. "

Marlo ,

" But she has small bag of coins what we gonna get from it ? "

Flick ,

" It worth more then sitting here and doing nothing , if we don't then we have sleep hungry tonight ... "

Marlo ,

" Alright ! then let's go .. "

Flick speed walk towards her and suddenly he snatched her bag from her hands and starts running away from her , she didn't shout but she starts chasing him , but Marlo came from behind and pushed her , she fell down on the ground , hopeless looking at Flick and Marlo crying out loud , Flick looked behind and saw her eyes , he stopped and kept looking her eyes , she had tears and was crying , Marlo grabbed Flick and said ,

" Let's go , we gotta go Flick .. "

Flick ,

" Yeah ! but does she look familiar ? "

Marlo ,

" You have been with so many girls , forget it let's go , we got what we wanted now .. "

Flick and Marlo ran away from there . The girl stood up and check her knees that were bleeding , she went back home hopelessly . Flick and Marlo were in a bar drinking bear and dancing with girls , Flick and Marlo were enjoying with each other whole night and then went back to there home and slept . In morning Flick woke up his head was hurting , he stood up but suddenly that eagle again came and sat down on his shoulder , Flick saw her and asked ,

" Who are you ? Do I have a relation with you ? "

Flick saw a small piece of paper wrapped around his leg , he unwrapped it and opened it , on that piece of paper a name was written " Strike " , Flick doesn't have idea and when he call the name Strike loud , eagle starts looking at him , Flick thought that eagle name is strike , he said ,

" Go strike bring that brush to me .. "

Eagle brought brush to him , Flick was shocked to see , he responds to his commands . Marlo climbed to his house and said ,

" Hey ! how you been doing ? "

Flick ,

" Not too great , I have pain in my head .. "

Marlo ,

" Ah oo ! go seek a doctor , by the way this eagle is still here .. "

Flick ,

" Yeah ! I think , I know his name as well , he responds to my commands as well .. "

Marlo ,

" What's his name ? "

Flick ,

" Strike ! "

Marlo ,

" That's quite unique name , now let's go , I'm hungry let's go ... "

Flick wear his clothes and walked toward the bazaar place , in mid way he saw bunch of people walking towards a house , Flick asked Marlo ,

" Why everyone going towards that house ? "

Marlo ,

" Don't know but I think someone died ... "

Flick ,

" Let's go check it out .. "

Marlo and Flick walked towards the house , Flick saw a dead body of a person laying on the floor in a coffin , he didn't know who he was , but when he saw Bella right next to it in shock , he was stunned and couldn't believe she was Bella , he asked Marlo ,

" Hey ! is that Bella ? "

Marlo ,

" Who ? "

Flick ,

" The girl who was in the flower shop , you talked to her yesterday .. "

Marlo ,

" Oh yeah ! yeah she is that girl but what happened ? "

Flick asked a near by guy ,

" Hey ! can you tell us what happened to her ? "

Guy ,

" Her father health was critical in night , he was in hospital , the money was required for his treatment , she somehow gathered some money for his fathers treatment but while she was coming to hospital two man stole her money and push her on the ground , her knee got hurt and were bleeding , in morning her father died all thanks to those two man , when she heard her father died , ever since she is in this state , she didn't even cried or anything .. "

Marlo ,

" Oh ! that's bad well let's go back Flick .. "

When Marlo saw Flick's face , Flick has tears in his eyes and was ready to burst his anger , Marlo grabbed him and dragged him outside the house , he took him to his house and made him sit down , Marlo said ,

" Listen ! it isn't your vault , none of us know that , calm your self ... "

Flick ,

" No ! it's all my fault , I saw her eyes last night when she was laying on the ground , I knew that I saw those before but all I was thinking that time was drinks and money , I get her father killed , I am responsible for this , I can't even imagine how bad I became in my own eyes ... "
