As I neared the Jacobs’s residence, my wolf slowed, before coming to a halt, hidden within the tree line coverage, while an indifferent scent filled the surrounding air, sending my wolf into defensive mode. Nothing seemed to look out of the ordinary, but as I slowly made my way around to the other side of the house, still hidden within the shadows of the forest, I saw an unfamiliar car parked in the driveway.
