Chance’s POV
For someone that says he isn’t interested in our mate, his scent was potent in the air, telling me he had been here recently. I was now wondering if this was where he had been spending his nights, since I hadn’t seen him since that day he shifted on the front lawn at the ranch, threatening to expose us all to Raven.
It now explained why his scent was on her phone, as I was sure he must be following her, but I now had to wonder what pictures on her phone he had deleted and why. Maybe it was out of jealousy, seeing her and that boy back in California together, and if so, he was lying not only to us that he wasn’t interested in her, but also to himself.
