Cash’s POV
“Care to tell me why we are at City Hall?” I asked Mazie when I met up with her outside the building, after she called me demanding I meet her here.
“Care to tell me why there is a permanent smile on your face?” She asks with sarcasm in her voice, as she tilts her head to the side, giving me a quick smirk, like she was waiting for a thank you from me.
“If you must know, Raven finally kissed me, but thanks to your call, it was cut short. I don’t know if I should thank you or strangle you?”
“You can thank me by getting me into the pack’s records.” She tells me as she begins to walk up the steps to the entrance of City Hall.
Catching up to her as we entered the building, I asked her, “And why do you need me for this?”
