Chance’s POV “How are you feeling?” I asked Raven as I moved inside my bedroom, taking a seat on the edge of my bed, as my grandmother quickly left the room to give us some privacy. Trying to sit up, Raven winced in pain, as I moved to help her by putting another pillow behind her head, while she said to me, “I am a bit sore, but it’s better than the alternative.” I had to look away from her, as the thought of losing her pained me, but most of all, I was still pissed off at myself for not keeping her safe.
