The Witch Princess in the Ghost Castle

It was the early morning Lucy got up from her sleep, seemed pretty scared due to her scary dream. It was a dream where she saw the witch princess in the abandoned ghost palace. The dream portrays the danger which is going to come in her life. But Lucy was not aware of the danger and got ready to school as usually. She left the home and reached the school pretty early. She used the shortcut to reach the school and at the turning street Lucy heard a noise and walked slowly to see what was that about.  

A white car was stopped near the back gate and a boy was standing next to the car. She moved closer to see what was happening there, the boy was her classmate Zac. Zac and his father were standing near the car and was talking. Zac's father began to curse at him as “You’re useless” and he threw some money at Zac’s face. Lucy was bewildered by this situation. Soon, Zac’s father and the car left the area. Zac was left all alone. Lucy felt bad for seeing this situation. And she also saw him taking the money, tears from his eyes were falling but he tightened his lips to control his hurt. Lucy slowly approached him and asked “are you okay?”. 

Zac saw her and told her to not to mind it. He took the money and left the place angrily. Lucy did not try to stop him. As it would have hurt him badly. So, she did not want him to feel worse at this situation. She followed him to the class and saw the class empty, as they both reached too early in the morning. Lucy stepped into the class and saw no one around her except Zac. She kept silent and walked to her seat. Her cramp sounds in her stomach craved her eat any eatables in the food court. She left the class and walked onto the direction towards the food court. Logan saw her and followed her to the food court. He watched her until she finished her breakfast in the food court. Lucy was unaware of Logan’s presence; she left the food court and went to the nurse’s room by remembering the wound in the hand of Zac. 

She bought a bandage and saw Logan standing behind her. “Hi, good morning. How was your breakfast? When did you came to school?”. Lucy was surprised to see Logan behind her and his questions shocked her more. She said “good morning” and left the place by leaving Logan alone. Still, Logan happily followed her and asked her more as a friend. But Lucy was unable to accept him, as she was unable to trust anyone no more. So, she avoided to talk with him and tried to get away more from him.  

When she arrived to the class, Zac was not there and she kept the bandage in Zac’s desk and came to her place. Logan saw the situation and he felt confused but didn’t try to ask her anything regarding that. The further day went as usual with the boring classes. It was the evening time; Lucy went to the library to read her favorite books and she decided to dip herself inside the book world. The library was so big and had too many racks with plenty of books in each section. The interesting story books and novels were placed at the middle of the hall. She began to search the interesting book and choose a book by looking at the title of the book “The Wicked Trip”. Soon she began to read the book which standing in between the racks. After a while, the silence of the library started to break with some hissing voices. Lucy didn’t notice the sounds as she was busy in reading the book. But a sudden voice calling her as, “Die, Die, You Lucy..., Die”. 

Lucy turned and saw, but there was no one around her. She sensed something was strange and felt the cool breeze around her which was so strange. So, she thought to leave the library and go back to her home. When she came out of the racks the lights in the library went off and she got so scared as she was afraid of darkness. She held her hand in a rack and tried to move ahead, though she was unable to see anything in the darkness. Again, she heard the same voice and the same words, “Die, Die, You Lucy..., Die” with much louder which creeped Lucy a lot and she tried to run away from the place. She also screamed in fear but stopped by a sudden grab from Logan. Logan grabbed her and hugged her tightly. He patted her head with his hands and wrapped his shoulders around her to ease her mind and body from the fear.  

Lucy was shivering badly and she grabbed his shirt tightly by symbolizing him, not to leave her alone and to protect her from the strange happenings. The strange sounds disappeared at once when Logan came to rescue her. He asked her, “What happened?” and Lucy told him about the strange voice and the sudden blackout which creeped her with the sudden voices. Logan told her not to panic and he grabbed her hand and promised her that he will protect her. Lucy was surprised by his actions and didn’t give any reply by looking at him. He told her that he will drop her in her home. But Lucy tried to stop him but Logan was adamant in his decision. Lucy and Logan began to walk towards her home.  

Lucy had so many questions in her mind but didn’t know where to start. Before her, he told her that she might be confused about the sudden situations. He told her not to worry about anything, as he will be always there to save her. Lucy asked him, “But why?”. He smiled at her and told her, “Because you are my princess and I am the one destined to marry you”.
